Blockwork
A solid cavity wall construction will help insulate your home from the elements and also provide acoustic insulation. Concrete blocks are among the most durable of building materials. Concrete blocks will not warp, rust or rot and require little or no maintenance.
Insulation
Wall insulation is one of the best ways of ensuring your home is as energy efficient as possible. As stated insulation can be incorporated into the structural frame or fixed to sheathing board. In either case, your home will be insulated to the highest standard, conforming to Building Regulations Part L.

External Wall Finishes
Different types of finish are available to decorate the external walls. The external leaf can be finished with the choice from rendered blockwork, brickwork, stone or timber clad finish. Select the style that best suits your tastes or combine external finishes.

Roof Type
Whatever the type of roof construction, be it Gable, Cross Gable, Hip, Mansard, or Flat, we will construct the roof to the highest possible standards providing a thermal and water resistant covering to the building envelope.
Insulation
Insulation is key here also. Two methods are available, a cold or warm roof. In a cold roof, the insulation layer is placed horizontally, directly above the ceiling of the upper story of the habitable section of the building, usually positioned between the joists in the loft space. In a warm roof, insulation is placed between and/or over the rafters.

Both types need high performance insulation as up to 25% of Heat Loss takes place through the roof. We will advise on all the different forms of insulation available (fibre-glass roll, rigid board and spray foam) and their associated U-values.

Coverings
There are various roof coverings and finishes on the market.
Select from natural slates,
reconstituted slate, clay roof tiles, fibre cement slates,
concrete tiles and interlocking tiles.
We will advise on cost and types available and install to the highest quality.

Ground Floor
The floor will be constructed from high strength concrete. Concrete is poured on insulation to minimise heat-loss and a high grade radon barrier will help keep your home safe.
Upper Floors
Upper floors will be constructed using a timber joist system. Timber flooring will be fitted with high performing thermal and acoustic insulation.
Floor Finishes
The client chooses the floor finish they desire. We will advise on cost but leave color scheme and choice of materials in the hands of the customer. Select from timber flooring, carpet, or tiling.

Your house will be wired to the highest specification as standard and we will also advise on all electrical components and fittings currently available on the market.
These include alarm systems, surround sound systems, electrical appliances, internal and external lighting and power source options.

All aspects of plumbing are taken care of from sanitary plumbing to domestic water supply to heat systems. There are various ways of generating heat. These include oil, gas, biomass, geothermal, air to water and solar.
We can advise on system which will best cater to your individual needs and budget. We will also advise on all forms of heating emitters available. These can include radiator systems, radiant heaters, underfloor heating and heat recovery systems.
